Welcome to the voting page for the 2008 People's Choice Award. This special honor is bestowed upon one of the talented finalists from the 2008 Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition. This year's event was an overwhelming success with photographers from all over the world submitting over 860 entries. A portion of the proceeds will help to finance Student Outdoor Learning Expedition (SOLE) trips with Appalachian State University's Outdoor Programs.

The 2008 Appalachian Mountain Photogrpahy Exhbition will be on display in the Turchin Center of the Visual Arts begining with a public recpetion on Friday, March 7. The exhibition will run through June 7, 2008.

The judging panel chose 46 photographs for this special exhibition. These entries are now available for the People's Choice Award. You must register to vote for this prestigious award with a valid email address for the purpose of meeting voting restrictions.

Voting will begin on March 7, 2008 and will conclude at 5:00 pm on April 11, 2008.
